Kitten Rescued After Being Thrown From Moving Car on I-84
NAMPA, Idaho (AP) — After a harrowing start in life, a tiny gray kitten has lived up to her new name: Lucky.
Nampa Police told KBOI-TV that a Wednesday night 911 caller reported that someone threw a kitten out of their moving vehicle and onto Interstate 84. Officers Garrett Tillitt and Chris Orvis were able to rescue the kitty before passing cars put her life in jeopardy.
The officers brought the cat back to the station and made sure she was OK before naming her Lucky.
Less than a day later, Lucky found what Orvis called a "purrfect, pardon the pun, forever home."
Nampa officers say they are looking for the person responsible for endangering Lucky. They say the person was in a light-colored two-door pickup truck and heading west.
