Magic Valley motorists won’t be getting much of a reprieve in summer road construction projects this summer.  As soon as the weather warms up the Idaho Transportation Department has a long list of repair work, mainly on the many bridges in the area.

A total of 34 bridges in the area, many of which are along I-84, are scheduled for maintenance work this year.  The Perrine Bridge will be restricted to a single lane in each direction for about a month this summer as crews repair the driving surface.  Resurfacing is also planned on U.S. Highway 93 for several miles near Rogerson along with a stretch of State Highway 75 north of Shoshone.
