Man Arrested After Robbing Drive-In

(KLIX)- Police arrested a man after allegedly robbing a Twin Falls Sonic drive in. According to Twin Falls police 29 year old Christopher Cole was arrested on suspicion of armed robbery. Police say at around 10:14pm a call came in that the Sonic on Blue Lakes had been robbed at gunpoint. An employee told police that they had been closing the business when a man entered through an unlocked door and pointed a firearm at them. He told everyone to get down on the ground and demanded money. The man got away with an undisclosed amount of money and left without injuring anyone. Employees recognized the man as being a former employee. Police were able to later locate Cole and arrest him. They searched his vehicle and found a large amount of cash and a handgun.
