More Pot Found in Cassia County Corn Field
BURLEY, Idaho (AP) — Police have seized another 1,200 marijuana plants in south-central Idaho after initially finding more than 4,600 plants in three corn fields.
Cassia County Sheriff Jay Heward says the additional plants were discovered on Thursday in an operation with the federal Drug Enforcement Agency. He says they were in the same farmer's fields where the 4,600 plants were found and destroyed on Wednesday.
Heward declined to release the name of the farmer or where the fields were located. He says police have no suspects at this time. Police are continuing to investigate.
