POCATELLO, Idaho (AP) — A mountain lion prowling in a Pocatello backyard in southeast Idaho has been relocated about 40 miles outside the city.

The Idaho State Journal reports that a homeowner on Saturday afternoon spotted the predator creeping around a trampoline commonly used by children and called authorities. Wildlife officials with the Idaho Department of Fish and Game found the mountain lion in a cottonwood tree.

Senior Conservation Officer Merritt Horsmon says the cat was calm and watching everything. Workers immobilized the lion with tranquilizers, lowered it from the tree and relocated it to an undisclosed area.
