UPDATE - 8/27/2014: We are still excited for new stores despite delays and Kohl's backing out of building. The visitor's center is looking good now and that is causing people to wonder when the stores will be built...and which stores they will be. At this time there are only two confirmed big businesses planning on building there. Dick's Sporting Goods will be a lead tenant and Bed, Bath, and Beyond is also a large chain coming to our town.
The new shopping center will be near the current visitors center on the South West side of the Perrine Bridge. According to plans the shopping center will include Kohl's, Bed Bath and Beyond, Men's Warehouse, Sports Authority, Petco plus several new restaurants like Starbucks, Noodles and Company, and Chipotle.
Right now there are only construction vehicles and equipment in the area. See the map below for an idea on where you'll be shopping in the future.
