Oh, What a Let Down! (Opinion)

The moon was so close today, if you looked at it, you were on the other side.

Okay, it wasn’t quite that impressive.  Last night, I went to bed under cloudy skies and didn’t expect to see it this morning, although.  When I stepped outside at 4:02 am, there it was in a bright sky.  Using the camera on my telephone and not my new camera (still awaiting some accessories), I snapped a couple of pictures.  I dunno.  Sometimes driving at night in the desert it appears to me a lot larger and brighter.  Maybe we live on the wrong side of the continent.

One last note, this isn’t a full moon.  That phase will rise tonight.
