There is an amazing amount of political talent among Republicans in the Magic Valley.  There is also a spirited GOP Primary in Jerome County for Sheriff.  Jon Lenker is the challenger.  We’ll see incumbent Doug McFall in a few days.  As an observer this is an embarrassment of riches because I don’t think voters can lose among the choices they’ve got this primary and election season...

The primary contest for Twin Falls County Sheriff may be getting the most attention of any contest in the region. Why? There is only one available seat whereas there are three County Commissioners and multiple State Legislative seats up for grabs...
