The Mourning After Dallas (Opinion)

This is one of the saddest days I’ve ever worked doing a radio talk show.  Yesterday, a hero of mine, Tom Marr, passed away.  Tom was a talk show host with law enforcers in his family.  Then, I got out of bed this morning and learned 5 heroes died in Dallas at the hands of thugs.  During my show today, I was joined for a lengthy segment by two members of the Twin Falls County Sheriff’s Department, Captain Tim Miller and Sergeant Ken Mencl.  They discussed the changing nature of law enforcement and the increasing dangers of their work.  I’m also adding a second video.  I was closing the show with a monologue today when with a minute to go, I took a telephone call from perhaps the biggest moron in Idaho.  Both video segments are below.
