I've spent several years writing about Airbnb rentals throughout Idaho, but none have featured the kind of natural, relaxing addition that one I recently discovered 180 miles northwest of Twin Falls has just a few steps out the backdoor.
My ideal Airbnb would offer a hot tub, billiards, and outdoor firepit. The Tetonia property has all of this, as well as an onsite saloon and wooden deck overlooking a lazy stream that are both accessible to guests.
There's a queen-sized bed, breakfast nook, storage shelves, wood floors and walls, and a pathway to a lounge area that has a spectacular view. The rental is listed as a one-bed, with a half-bath for two people, and is one of the more romantic listings you'll find anywhere.
The only request I might have for the owners of the cabin, is if it's cool if I move one of the guest beds outside so I can enjoy the view until I crash out.
The landlord who rejected a family seeking to rent a house in Idaho because they had seven children is being charged with violating federal housing law.
