If you notice a few extra young men and women wearing blue jackets in Twin Falls this weekend, there’s good reason for that.  The 80th annual State FFA Leadership Conference is being held at the College of Southern Idaho.  Over 1300 students from around the state have converged in Twin Falls for the 20th year in a row for the conference.  The event will continue through Saturday at CSI where workshops are being conducted and livestock and horses are being judged.  Local officials say having the convention in Twin Falls each year brings a significant economic impact to the area especially for motels and restaurants.  The convention will conclude tomorrow with the election of a new state FFA president.
