Both are felonies. The incident stems from last June when Wells was a chaperone for FFA students at a convention in Moscow.  Police say a video camera was allegedly hidden in the bathroom of his motel room and used to record girls showering in his shower.  Police say Wells offered his shower after some of the girls attending the convention said the shower facilities at the University of Idaho were not clean enough.  Police reports indicate a boyfriend of one of the girls found the camera in a coffee packet on the bathroom counter.  After confronting Wells, the boy says Wells proceeded to destroy the camera and the memory card inside.  The boy then took the evidence to police. Wells unexpectedly resigned his position at the high school after the incident in June.  He taught at the school for about ten years.  His court appearance is scheduled for 8:30 this morning in Latah County.
