Tip-A-Cop For Special Olympics

A torch run for Special Olympics yesterday and a Tip A Cop fundraiser today…the two go together to raise awareness for the Special Olympics.  Yesterday morning members of the Twin Falls Police Department carried the Special Olympics torch from the Twin Falls City Park to Perkins Restaurant on North Blue Lakes Blvd. through the rain and cool temperatures.  Thursday, the awareness campaign will continue with a Tip A Cop fundraiser at Perkins.  Officers from several local law enforcement agencies will be waiting on tables from 6 a.m. until 6 p.m.  Any tips they get will go to the Special Olympics.  This is the 20^th year for this fundraiser.  The goal is $5,000.
