The recent moisture should help Twin Falls residents get through the next few weeks without having to water their lawns.  The city of Twin Falls is asking residents to curtail water usage for lawns and gardens for the next two to four weeks.  Work is being done on the arsenic reduction project and extra water for the lawns and gardens won’t be available.  City workers will be replacing water lines at the facilities where water blending will be taking place to reduce the amount of arsenic in the water to meet federal rules.  City officials are asking all residents on the city water system to curtail water usage for lawns and gardens so there will be enough water for essential services.
