Watch Skiers Freeze at Hagerman ID Winter Water Ski Event
Only in Idaho and maybe Alaska will you find people fun and crazy enough to want to plunge into winter water sports.
The Hagerman Booster Club is hosting their first annual Fossil Freeze Water Ski event on New Year’s Eve at 1pm.
The Hagerman Boosters are raising money for a variety of community needs, including a scoreboard at the football field. The current board has seen better days, so participating in the event will help raise money.
If you are interested in skiing, the entry fee is $50, which gets you into the competition, and you can earn rewards and prizes for raising additional donations.
If you’re not crazy enough to water ski in winter, you are more than welcome to attend the event if you just want to watch. Admission is free for spectators, and donations will be gladly accepted. They’ll also be plenty of food on hand for purchase, so bring the family and prepare yourself for some hot food to keep you warm.
