The topics at the annual State of the City event at Canyon Crest Event Center yesterday ranged from confusing water bills to city roads that need repair.  Member of the Twin Falls City Council along with City Manager Travis Rothweiler fielded questions from the audience for over an hour.  One of the main topics was the condition of the city roads and streets.  Twin Falls motorists are facing yet another summer of road construction from the completion of Washington Street North to the last phase of the city arsenic project which is requiring trenches be dug in the middle of many of the streets and roads.   Councilman Dave Johnson said the Council is working hard on solutions but this is not an issue that can be fixed overnight.   The State of the City is an annual event where citizens can ask the council members any questions they have.  About a hundred attended the event.  Mayor Don Hall says the event has been very successful and the plans are to continue it in the future.
