(KLIX)- The Twin Falls Recycling reward plan is no more. Last night the Twin Falls City Council voted to strip the Recycle Bank out of the recycling program. City residence will still be able to recycle, there just won’t be an awards program tied to it
(KLIX)-The retail development center on the canyon rim is a go in Twin Falls. In a lengthy city council meeting council members heard testimony from concerned citizens, the developers and city staff. The council had three items dealing with the Canyon Park West development that would have three commercial lots.
Last night the Twin Falls City Council decided to revisit some proposed changes to downtown parking in a couple of weeks. The council was considering some recommendations from the special task force that had studied the downtown parking situation for the past several months.

The Twin Falls City Council’s discussion over the proposed new city budget for the coming fiscal year had a lot to do with a proposed property tax increase. City Manager Travis Rothweiler has proposed a 4 percent increase in city property taxes to help meet the demands of several budgetary issues for the city including road maintenance.
