Twin Falls needs more to do for children and adults. It is a complaint I have heard over the last couple of weeks and months and I couldn't agree more. Blast Masters, an indoor nerf gun arena, closed this last week and it had me wondering, if they couldn't make it, then what is something that Twin Falls needs, that could survive in this town?

Twin Falls Needs A Dave & Busters

The first place that came to my mind when people told me we need more to do in Twin is Dave & Busters. It is one of my favorite places to go and it works well for all families. There are games for all ages, beer for adults, good food, and good prizes. Wednesdays are half-price days and would do fantastic business if it was located in the Magic Valley Mall parking lot in Twin.

Chuck E. Cheese Is A Must In Twin

Similar to Dave & Busters, but more geared towards the kids, is Chuck E. Cheese. I don't have an ideal location in my head, but Chuck E. Cheese would do great in Twin. It allows kids to play and have fun, eat pizza and play indoors as well. Every kid needs to go to one sometime in their life, and with so many kids in Twin Falls, why not have one here?

Why Does Twin Falls Have No Zoo

Twin Falls not having a zoo seems wrong to me. My family and I attended the Living Nativity the other night, and most people seemed to be there to see and pet the animals. A zoo would do fantastic in Twin. Due to the cold weather, I understand an argument not to have one, but it could be a seasonal one, or one made up of more local animals, that may need rehabilitation. It would be easy to fund through charity and local donations and could be anywhere close to town.

Discovery Zone Needs To Be Brought Back

Do you remember Discovery Zone back in the day? It was one of the coolest, most fun places for kids to go. Unfortunately, they have all been shut down, but something similar needs to be brought back and introduced to Twin. There needs to be a giant ball pit, obstacle course, and dodgeball room somewhere for kids to play. Twin needs an indoor playground. Not the kind in the Magic Valley Mall, but one with slides, soft padding, tubes to crawl through, and more. It doesn't have to be huge, but someplace for kids to run, scream and let loose.

There are fun things to do in Twin, such as Skateland, Jump Time, laser tag, and bowling, to name a few. There is never too much, as more options are always better. Kids and adults need things to do for date nights, to let their energy out, and to have fun family outings. What other places or ideas do you think Twin Falls needs? As a community, let's try to make some of them happen and bring new, fun places to Twin Falls.
