Pop Up Vinyl Record Store Open For One Day

The vinyl store is called Modern Sounds. It will be in Koto Brewing Tuesday, February 22nd from 6 pm to 9 pm. You will be able to purchase vinyl records and listen to some of them. There will be over 1,200 new and used vinyl records for sale. If you are the type that has been looking for your favorite artist on a record, now is your chance to look locally.

Koto Brewing is in Downtown Twin Falls on Main Street. While you are checking out the records you can also sit down, have a beer or two, and get some dinner. They always have really good food. It is really awesome that they are going to be spinning some vinyl during the event as well.

Vinyl Is Making A Comeback

People are starting to want tangible music again. Downloading songs online is always great, don't get me wrong, but some of the coolest sounds come from those old records and record players. It is nostalgic. Now, as long as we don't bring back the CDs that get scratched super easy we should be good. Hopefully, they will do this again, but for right now it is a one-day event that I am not going to miss.
