Hollywood apparently isn’t the only place where women face discriminination.

aren’t we supposed to be living in more enlightened times?

Idaho Fish & Game could be on the list of danger zones.  The Idaho Statesman reports a former employee of the department claims she was discriminated against because of her sex, but only got a poor performance review after making a complaint.  The newspaper explains Danielle Dorsch left Fish & Game last year.  The paper doesn’t know if she resigned or quit.

Not to play judge or jury, but seeing these complaints in 1977 may not have been a surprise, but aren’t we supposed to be living in more enlightened times?

The woman suggested she had recordings of the discrimination taking place.  Her lawsuit says she was told she shouldn’t be recording any conversations.  If she wins the case, can you guess who’ll be on the hook for a settlement?  Taxpayers.

CORRECTION:  An earlier version of this story suggested the woman's complaint was sexual harassment.  Her complaint is actually sexually based discrimination, which isn't a sex crime.  The earlier version had followed the reporting of the Statesman, which has also been amended.
