(KLIX)-An early morning crash Sunday sent two people to the hospital. Idaho State Police say alcohol played a role in the crash at around 1:40 yesterday morning. ISP say a Washington man was headed south on highway 46. Police say 18 year old Tarin Mendoza was headed east on 2100 south when he failed to yield to the other driver and hit him at the intersection. The crash closed parts of the highway down for about two hours. The driver of the other care was treated and released from the hospital.
