An Idaho Senator Promotes Self-Defense (Opinion)

Gun culture is also knife culture.  For hunting, there’s a role for both tools.

This morning during our weekly gun segment on Top Story, we talked about efforts by U.S. Senator Mike Crapo to promote switchblade sales.  In popular films, the knives are portrayed as the choice of gang members when street fighting, but in reality, the knives are designed for optimum safety.

Another discussion centered on efforts by liberal media to twist language when it comes to stories about firearms.  A Washington Post columnist, Dana Milbank, is on a mission to outlaw many kinds of firearms.  There’s a reason his paper is known as Pravda-on-the-Potomac.  Once again, his ilk are trying to sway you by fear.  You can listen to the segment below:
