Burley Man Pleads Guilty To Felony Sexual Battery

A Burley man could be facing jail time after pleading guilty to felony sexual battery of a minor.  39 year old Robert Waldemar entered the plea in Cassia County 5^th District Court.  Waldemar was originally charged last September with two counts of sexual battery of a minor, statutory rape and conspiracy to commit rape.  He and another man, 37 year old Nicholas Dudley of Burley, are accused of starting a Star Wars science fiction club to lure young girls for sex.  Dudley was sentenced in November to 2 to 10 years in prison after he entered an Alford Plea.  Waldemar pleaded guilty to felony sexual battery of a minor 16 to 17 in a plea agreement for the state to drop three other felony sex charges.  Waldemar is scheduled for sentencing in May.
