Seven businesses in the Nampa area received counterfeit $20 bills in their stores.  Over the past few days, someone has been paying for the stores' products and services with fake bills.  There have been reports in the recent past of fake bills also being passed in the Magic Valley area.  Law enforcement agencies have some advice for those who are accepting a $20 bill.  A real $20 bill will have  the president Jackson watermark on the right front side of the bill visible when held up to a bright light, a security strip on the left front side of the bill, and it will show "twenty USA"  when held up to a bright light.  It will also have color shifting ink along with red and blue threads in the paper.  Call your local police agency if you believe you have a counterfeit bill.
