(KLIX) Several wildfires kept Bureau of Land Management fire crews busy during the weekend. Crews spent Saturday fighting the East Devil’s Corral Fire. A downed power line may be to blame. It started a little before 2 in the afternoon just east of Highway 93. It burned roughly 525 acres. The fire spread through the Devil’s Corral area towards Vineyard Lake. It did threaten a house in the area. Crews were able to prevent any serious damage. Some old hay and equipment was charred. A helicopter was called in to scout out the fire and help with water drops. The Jerome Rural and First Segregation Rural Fire Departments helped battle the blaze. Meanwhile crews battled the Balanced Road fire near Castlford on Sunday.  It is estimated to have burned 1100 acres. Only 25 percent had been contained by the afternoon. Crews hope to have it fully contained by Monday.
