The council voted 6 to 1 instead to give the city staff 45 days to update the previous survey taken in 2010.  Rothweiler said he felt it was important to see where Twin Falls ranks with other Idaho towns in order to prevent an exodus of trained city employees moving to take jobs in other towns such as in 2005 when many of the city police officers took jobs in the Treasure Valley leaving Twin Falls short of officers for a time.
