City Decides Not to Use Million

(KLIX)- If you had a million dollars how would you spend it? Monday night, Twin Falls City council decided not to use a million dollars. Last week the council added an additional one million to the city budget that was presented to them using the foregone money. They asked city staff to find projects that the money could be spent on. City staff came up with a list that included several projects aimed at parks, streets and infrastructure. In the end though, the council decided that the presented budget of about $49 million dollars was good enough. They felt it wasn’t necessary to burden the taxpayer anymore.
