CSI Plans Disc Golf Tourney
TWIN FALLS, Idaho (KLIX) – Spring is just around the corner. For a lot of people, that means it's disc golf time.
Are you one of them?
If so, mark your calendars for April 22, when senior senators at the College of Southern Idaho will sponsor a disc golf tournament at the college’s disc golf course. The event is for a good cause: to raise money for scholarships.
Registration begins at 8 a.m., a player meeting at 9:30 a.m. and tee off at 10 a.m.
You’ll likely work up an appetite. You can curb it at the barbecue scheduled for after the event. Of course, you want to know how much all of this costs, right?
The registration fee for advanced players is $25, the fee for intermediate players is $20, fees for novice and women are $15, and the fee for youth is $5. Students with CSI identification will receive a $5 discount.
Those who register by April 18 will receive an event t-shirt and be entered into a raffle drawing. Those who register after that can buy an event t-shirt the day of the tournament. Pre-register here.
