Drive Means Drive: Distracted Driving Kills 9 People Per Day
This isn't new - but it is still a huge issue across America. Distracted driving is killing American families.
According to the Consumerist, 9 people die every day in accidents involving distracted drivers. Then there are the other 1,000 accidents that don't include a fatality caused by distracted drivers according to the CDC. In March of 2017 the National Highway Traffic Safety Administrations released numbers for 2015 citing that 3,477 vehicle deaths were due in part to distracted driving with 391,000 non fatal injuries!
A quick search of our site shows hundreds of stories of recent car crashes and accidents on Idaho roads and 7 of them are just in the last week.
