Boy Missing from Hailey Found Safe in Florida, Woman Arrested

The Hailey Police Department says a boy and woman that have ties to the southern Idaho region have been found. 

33-year-old Olivia G. Barkes (Phelps)  was arrested on December 12 after a nationwide arrest warrant for felony Custodial Interference was announced the morning of December 11. That means Olivia allegedly took the child from the custodial parent with the intent to interfere with that parent's physical custody. She took the boy from his rightful parent.

The boy that was reported missing, 9-year-old Logan Barkes, was found safe in Jacksonville, Florida with Barkes. The Hailey Police Department would like to thank everyone involved in helping find the boy and woman who was arrested in this case.
