Hailey Teens Accused of Raping a 14-Year-old Girl

Police say three teenagers in Hailey have been arrested on felony charges after a 14-year-old girl reported they forced her to have sex with them. The Idaho Mountain Express reports the suspects are students at Wood River High School in Hailey and were taken into custody Friday. Two of the students are 17, while police identified the third suspect as 18-year-old Christian Ivan Zuniga-Alvarez. Police Lt. Steve England says the two underage students face charges of lewd conduct with a minor, while Zuniga-Alvarez made an initial court appearance Monday on a charge of sexual abuse of a minor under 16. Police say the girl alleges the suspects offered her a ride home from school last Tuesday, but instead drove her to a park and took turns assaulting her.
