Feel free to make your own joke about Burley being evidence of aliens among us. But, I have found additional proof. There was a picture of crop circles in Burley shared on Instagram.

Aliens? Sadly, no. As the hashtag in the Instagram post indicates, it's center pivot irrigation. Don't know what that means? I'm not a farmer, so I didn't either. Thankfully, Wikipedia educated me.

Center-pivot irrigation (sometimes called central pivot irrigation), also called waterwheel and circle irrigation, is a method of cropirrigation in which equipment rotates around a pivot and crops are watered with sprinklers.[1][2] A circular area centered on the pivot is irrigated, often creating a circular pattern in crops when viewed from above (sometimes referred to as crop circles).[3] Most center pivots were initially water-powered, and today most are propelled by electric motors.

This is not to say there aren't aliens in Burley. This just means we can rule out the crop circles as evidence. Darn.
