TWIN FALLS, Idaho (KLIX) – If you’re storing unusable pesticides, you’ll soon have a legal and safe way to dispose of them.

The Idaho State Department of Agriculture has scheduled two collection dates later this month in the Magic Valley.

  • Sept. 26, Twin Falls Canal Co., 357 6th Ave. West, Twin Falls.
  • Sept. 27, Gooding Airport, 1945 Airport Road, Gooding.

Pesticides include herbicides, insecticides, fungicides, rodenticides or anything with a “cide” at the end of its name, according to the department.

Unusable pesticides should be taken to the closest collection site between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. Fertilizer, micronutrients, paint, solvents or motor oil will not be accepted.
