What You Missed at Day 1 of Gordy’s HWY 30 Music Fest
Gordy's HWY 30 Music Fest is one of the best events of the summer in the Magic Valley and is one that many impatiently wait for each year. The four-day festival is a blast and is more than just music. There is food, shopping, live music, and an experience you won't forget. Gordy's HWY 30 Music Fest kicked off on Wednesday with an all-female lineup that was incredible, and if you missed it, you missed some amazing performances. Here is some of what you missed on Wednesday, and some of the sights and sounds for you to relive if you were there.
Before the Gates Open
The fair grounds are quiet and empty before the festival begin. Everyone is finishing up the final touches on their booths and doing sound checks before the gates open. It is a little bit like a ghost town, as anticipation grows.
The Pre Party Outside the Gate
This year they there is entertainment beginning at 10 AM outside the gate as festival goers await patiently to be let in. KC Johns kicked it off for the crowd while they gathered to be let in and made sure everyone started their morning off with some entertainment. A nice addition to this year's festival.

Holly Beth kicked things off for Gordy's HWY 30 Music Fest, and travelled all the way from Oklahoma to make it.

This was only the first day of the music festival and the bar was set high. What a lineup and what day to kick things off. There are still three more days to go, and it all begins again around noon on Thursday, with Kaden Madden kicking things offs.
