Popular Discount Store Closes in Idaho for Good

While the pandemic is mostly in the past, some of the repercussions are still being felt today. Many businesses closed due to the consequences of the pandemic, and it has taken a couple of years to see the results of others. While it is easy to point to the shutdown a few ago as to why these places are closing, it isn't the only reason. Chains that have been around for years though are closing stores and some, like Bed Bath and Beyond are going entirely out of business. Another store is joining that list and you have limited time to shop before it is gone from the state of Idaho and everywhere else as well.

Tuesday Morning Going Out of Business

The popular discount store Tuesday Morning recently announced on their Facebook that they will be going out of business and all their stores will soon be closing their doors. There are currently two Tuesday Mornings in Idaho, with both being located in the Boise area. While no official date has been announced for when the two locations in Idaho will be closing, it has been announced that customers have until May 13 to use any coupons, gift cards, or discounts that they have. There should be some great deals to be had in the coming weeks, so you may want to make a drive to Boise soon to see what you can find.

What is Tuesday Morning?

For those unfamiliar with the chain, the store is similar to Ross and TJ Max, in that they are a discount store, but they closer resemble more of a home goods store. They often had items from 30% off up to even 80% off at times. It was nearly impossible to go into a store and not find a good deal of some sort. The chain has seen more than half of its stores close over the last few years. They will join the growing list of companies to file for bankruptcy and to go out of business this year already. While the news is sad, there is still time to make one or two more trips before the doors are closed.

The pandemic might be behind us, but the repercussions will continue to be felt for years to come and Tuesday Morning is the next in a long line of businesses to close because of it.
