There are always concerns about what to feed the kids in the summer, sometimes it’s how to feed the kids in the summer. Some kids just lock themselves away and don’t see any of their friends or socialize with anybody until school starts in the fall.

The Twin Falls School District has a Summer Food Program. Not only do kids get free meals, but they also have an opportunity to be outside and converse with other people. Food, fresh air, and interaction all sound like a great chance for kids to break up the monotony.

How do Kids Get Free Lunches in Twin Falls?

School breakfasts are off the table, but lunches are still a go. Sure, there is no bus to each school, but meals are available across Twin Falls. Anyone 18 and younger can walk up, get lunch, and hang out to eat. It’s that easy. One meal a day has now been taken care of.

From May 30th Through August 4th, children can grab lunch at Bickel Elementary, Morningside Elementary, Oregon Trail Elementary, Lincoln Elementary, and Lighthouse Christian School.

Canyon Ridge High School has free lunches from May 30th to June 30th, South Hills Middle School will serve from May 31st through June 23rd, and Magic Valley High School will provide lunches from May 30th to June 15th.

All lunches are served from 11:30 AM to 12:45 PM Monday through Friday, except for July 3rd and 4th. Food has to be eaten on-site.
