7 Events To Have Fun the First Weekend of March in the Magic Valley
March is starting this weekend, which most people usually think of as the beginning of spring. In Idaho, it can mean several seasons, but it typically does mean a little bit warmer weather. This weekend, that won't be the case, but it shouldn't stop you from having fun and enjoying your weekend. There is plenty to do around the Magic Valley, and despite the chilly and wet weather, there is no reason to stay at home unless you want to. Thursday, February 29 Through Monday, March 4 - 'School of Rock: The Musical"
With the weather being in question on what it will be like, how about playing it safe this weekend and staying indoors while enjoying a musical? 'School of Rock: The Musical,' will be performed this weekend at CSI Fine Arts Theatre, and will be performed by the Magic Valley Dilettantes. There will be shows every night Thursday through Monday. Showtime on Thursday will be at 7:30 PM with a 7:30 PM show on Friday as well. On Saturday there will be two shows, with one taking place at 2 PM and another at 7:30 PM. Friday, March 1 and Saturday, March 2 - CSI Baseball
While the weather won't be the nicest this weekend, it shouldn't stop you from getting out and cheering on the CSI baseball team. The team is currently 14-6 on the season, and is undefeated at home, with an 8-0 record. The team will play four games this weekend, with two on Friday and two on Saturday, and all games will be against the College of Southern Nevada. Friday, March 1 - Josh Gracin
Getting out and enjoying some live music is always a treat. This weekend in Rupert at the Historic Wilson Theatre, country music artist, Josh Gracin will be performing. The show will be on Friday and will begin at 7:30 PM. Tickets are on sale for $35.
