What is Happening at the 2023 Christmas in the Nighttime Sky Event?
One of the most anticipated community events in Twin Falls is coming up in just a few days. Christmas in the Nighttime Sky at Kimberly Nurseries is our official kickoff to the Christmas season, and each year offers something different and special.
2023 Christmas in the Nighttime Sky Event is Back in Twin Falls
Christmas in the Nighttime Sky 2023 will take place at Kimberly Nurseries on November 24th, the day after Thanksgiving. The event is truly magical as people come from all around Idaho and other states to see the fireworks show and participate in the spirit of giving. The show doubles as a gift-gathering event as admission is a new unwrapped toy for kids aged infants to 16 years.
This year there will be a free chili and potato dinner, drinks, warm bonfires, Christmas music, and the fireworks show set to music on KOOL 96.5. While you're there, don’t forget to visit with Santa Clause and tell him how good you’ve been this year.
Where To Park For Christmas in the Nighttime Sky
It’s important to note that you can’t park at Kimberly Nurseries for the event. You need to park at the Lighthouse Christian Church on Eastland Drive in Twin Falls and there will be shuttle buses to take you to and from the event location. Shuttles will run starting at 5 PM and the event will begin at 5:30. The fireworks show is scheduled to happen around 7:30 north of Kimberly Nurseries.
A huge thanks to the members of the community who show up with toys for the kids and make the event a success each year. Last year we gathered more than 2,000 gifts and with your help can do even more this year. Also thanks to the sponsors who make the event possible: HUB International, KMVT, Swire Coca-Cola of Twin Falls, Townsquare Media, Watertech, Idaho Central Credit Union, Gordy’s HWY30 Music Fest, Elite Accounting, and Kimberly Nurseries.
We hope to see you there this year.
