Police in Idaho Share Footage of Drug Related Vehicle Pursuit and PIT Maneuver
The video was shared by the Idaho State Police on social media on October 15th, 2025, while text in the video says the incident happened in August of 2025. Text in the video also details that the chase happened along Interstate 84 near the Oregon border, beginning around Parma. We also know that the pursuit crossed the Oregon border and then back into Idaho before it ended in a PIT maneuver by an ISP trooper.
Deputies from Canyon County and Payette County assisted ISP in the resolution of the pursuit. The driver was charged with felony eluding, drug offenses, and had an active warrant. A passenger in the front seat of the vehicle was also charged with felony drug possession.
With thousands of views and hundreds of comments, the video has garnered the attention and criticism of many people. Some of those people are amused by the stickers in the back window of the criminal’s vehicle. A cross and what looks like a sticker of either Jesus or a saint can be seen on the window, causing some to muse that they should have let Jesus take the wheel while also recognizing the juxtaposition of the crimes committed while sporting such stickers.
It was nice of the driver to come back to Idaho for the PIT, hopefully that saved some time and paperwork for someone.
