The success of the recently adopted recycling program by the city of Twin Falls is capturing the attention of other towns.  The Jerome City Council is looking into the possibility of starting a recycling program as well.  A representative of PSI Environmental Systems told the Council yesterday how the program works and how it might be able to be used to the advantage of Jerome residents.  Participation of the new system in Twin Falls has been far better than the previous system which allows participating residents to collect coupons that can be redeemed at area business and it’s also a less complicated program.  A plan for Jerome is estimated to cost residents anywhere from about $3.50 to about $4.70 per month depending on the length of the contract and the options.  Jerome officials say they may be taking the issue to the voters at some time in the future.
