Man Killed When Car Goes Down Embankment in North Idaho

CLARKIA, Idaho (KLIX)-A Deary, Idaho man was killed when his small car went off an embankment in north Idaho Sunday afternoon.

According to Idaho State Police, 63-year-old Bruce Bogar was driving a 1994 Subaru Justy on State Highway 3 near Clarkia, Idaho at around 4:14 p.m. when he crossed the center line and went off the road.

ISP said in a statement the car went down a nearly 600 foot embankment before it stopped. Bogar had not been wearing a seat belt and died at the scene.
