A day will come when it will be consistently warm.

BOOM! Suddenly 105 degrees day-after-day.

Yesterday, there were snow flurries.  This morning, in the chill air there was fog.  By the middle of next week, we’ll be basking in warmth of the mid-80's (according to some but not all forecasts).  The morning haze rolled in today quickly and out just as fast.  I’m reminded of a line I heard when I first came to Idaho.  Some years it’ll be March, but for several months.  Then, BOOM!  Suddenly, 105 degrees day-after-day.  Actually this happens in other parts of the country.  There is no weather “normal”.  It’s a broadcast word subbing for “average”.  This spring is below-average.
