Nampa Woman Killed after Car Hydroplaned
BOISE -- The Idaho State Police says a Nampa woman died Saturday night after a crash near Burley. Police say Rosemarie Edvalson, 56, of Eagle and her passenger Juanita Spitzer, 75, from Nampa were traveling westbound on Interstate 84 near milepost 225, when Edvalson changed lanes after passing another vehicle. As she was passing, her 2007 Honda Accord hydroplaned in a large puddle, flipping and then landing upside down in a large amount of standing water off the roadway. Both Edvalson and Spitzer were taken to Cassia Regional Medical Center, where Spitzer later died. Police say they were both wearing their seat belts
