(KLIX)- The city of Twin Falls will dedicate its newest park today. The Courtney Conservation Park is unlike any other park the city has done so far. Its located at the corner of Fillmore and Falls Avenue. It will feature plants that don’t drink a whole lot of water. Parks and Recreation Director Dennis Bowyer says the city chose to name the park after retired City Manager Tom Courtney because he was pretty conservative while running the city. Bowyer says people will be able to get ideas from the park that they could incorporate into their own yards.
