COEUR D'ALENE, Idaho (KLIX)-Idaho State Police say one person was hit by a semi-truck attempting to cross a north Idaho interstate at around midday Monday.

Joshua Brown, 38, of Rathdrum had stopped his late 80s Chevrolet small pickup on the side of Interstate 90 at a little after noon Jan. 13, west of Coeur d'Alene, and for an unknown reason, got out of the pickup and tried to cross to the other side, according to Idaho State Police.

Brown was hit by a semi-truck hauling cars, driven by a Arkansas man. The crash is still under investigation by ISP. The crash caused some traffic disruptions while crews worked the scene.
