There isn’t going to be any more “Snake River Canyon Jam” events in the canyon, at least none sponsored by the Twin Falls Chamber of Commerce.  The event, which was started about 12 years ago, had dwindling crowds attending the event to the point that the Chamber said it was no longer profitable.  Last year just over 500 people attended the event, about a third of the capacity.  The event cost around $45,000 dollars to put on and the Chamber lost about $2000 on last year’s event.  Chamber President Shaun Barigar said the Chamber would concentrate on two other money raising events instead…the Hot August Night event in the city park and the annual cardboard boat regatta.
