Traffic to be Rerouted Downtown for Annual St. Paddy’s Day Parade
TWIN FALLS, Idaho (KLIX) – You don’t have to wear green to like parades, but it is the color of choice at the annual Twin Falls St. Patrick’s Day Parade on Friday.
The parade, which will start in the 500 block of Main Avenue East, will head northwest and end at the intersection of Main Avenue North and Dierkes Street North, according to information from the city.
Streets along the parade route will be closed from 4 to 6:30 p.m., causing traffic to be rerouted.
A lot of people are expected downtown Friday evening, and the city reminds motorists to stay alert and watch for pedestrians. Instead of heading in the downtown vicinity, it urges passing motorists to use alternate routes, if possible.
