MERIDIAN -- A large truck carrying a load of beans spilled on Amity Road near the intersection of Meridian Road just after 7 a.m. KTVB reports the Ada County Sheriff's Office says the truck driver missed a gear while trying to downshift as he approached Amity Road, and rather than go through a stop light, he shifted to neutral and attempted to turn the truck east on to Amity Road.

That's when the truck tipped over - and you guessed it - spilled the beans! The beans hit a car in the westbound lane of Amity Road with enough force to move that car over about half a lane. Both eastbound and westbound lanes of Amity Road were blocked for about three hours by the accident. Police say no one was seriously injured.
