A truck that stuck a power pole is to blame for leaving about 1500 Idaho Power customers in the dark and the sweltering heat yesterday afternoon. The accident happened in the south park area of Twin Falls at around 2:30. Residents, largely in the south park area, were without power for about an hour while crews worked to reroute the electricity. Power to all customers was restored by about 6:30 last evening.  There have been no reports of any injuries because of the accident.
