UPDATE: Good news, Sampson has been reclaimed by his previous owner.

The Twin Falls Animal Shelter currently has a special pup ready for adoption. Lots of people have come in to meet him but seem to be turned off by his one odd eye. Before Sampson showed up at the TF Animal Shelter he was injured by a blow to the head. The trauma has caused his eye to stick out from his head more than his other eye.

The injury doesn't cause him any pain but it does seem to catch potential owners off guard. Despite the eye appearance, Sampson is a healthy dog in need of a loving home. He's a bigger dog so he'll do best in a home with other dogs (especially females) his own size. He isn't a fan of smaller animals including cats, little dogs, chickens, or rabbits.

If Sampson isn't your type of dog, he isn't the only fuzzball waiting at the animal shelter for a forever home. The Twin Falls Animal Shelter frequently updates their Facebook page with pictures and information about the adoptable cats and dogs.

These loving creatures aren't limited to dogs - plenty of kittens and cats are also waiting at the animal shelter. As a bonus, adult cat and kitten adoptions are discounted for a limited time.

Kitten adoptions are only $63 which includes the spay or neuter, vaccination, and microchip. Adult cat adoptions are discounted to $24 and also include the vaccinations, microchip, and they are spayed or neutered.

For other ways to help out the animals at the shelter, if you can't adopt, you can be part of the upcoming Furrball Fundraiser on March 7th, 2020.
